What Is This About?
Many entrepreneurs jump into the new year with big dreams but little direction to make them happen. Let's change that in 2021 and grow our lists at the same time.
Who Can Contribute?
We are looking for coaches, mentors, consultants, virtual assistants and anyone else in the business of helping other business owners achieve success.
What Do I Contribute?
Your gift should be something that really showcases your expertise and how you can help them. Equally important, this should be a useful resource of some substance or value.
WHAT ARE THE RULES AND MY RESPONSIBILITIES?
Glad you asked! For an event like this to work, we need to have some ground rules and parameters to make this as worthwhile as possible for each contributor. You will agree to:
- Secure your spot with a $150 contributor fee. This fee goes towards administration, copy and image creation. Should there be any leftover, we will invest it in advertising.
- Submit a gift that hasn't been given away freely on your site or other giveaway or bundle in the last 12 months. This keeps the integrity of the giveaway high and helps us reduce giveaway fatigue.
- Create a frictionless opt-in process for your gift. This means, no bump offers, upsells, one time offers or promotion of your products or otherwise during the giveaway period. Having said that, we highly encourage you to have a nurturing sequence in place during that time to keep your name in front of subscribers.
- Send a minimum of 3 solo emails during the giveaway period.
- Make a minimum of 5 posts to your social media platform of choice.
- Provide accurate information about your gift and submit it on time.
HOW WILL YOU SUPPORT ME?
In return, we will provide you with swipe copy, and graphics to make promotion quick and easy. We'll also rotate offer listings for top referrals and top opt-ins throughout the giveaway process.
In addition, depending on the availability of funds, we will use it to advertise the promotion either on social media or selected places that will reach the right audience for all of us.
WHAT ABOUT LIST SIZE?
List size is somewhat overrated. While it is a good initial indicator, it is a poor measurement for list quality. Instead, we value list ENGAGEMENT more than number of subscribers. Ideally, we would like to see a list size of 3000 with a decent or better engagement rate. But, we reserve the right to invite and admit anyone who may not meet the list size criteria but have demonstrated extraordinary, consistent engagement rates.
We're also looking for contributors who actively email subscribers weekly. A list of 5,000 subscribers who seldom hear from you is not ideal.
